Hey Sistas,

This month, we're practicing back to school shalom with these TEN Shalom Steps.

Shalom Steps This Month

1; Listen to the “How to Show Up” episode on The Nod

2: Try out a mediation from The Shine App

3: Listen to the Shalom in the Home episode with Jerusalem Greerfor tips to make your home cozy

4:  Throw a GIF Party for a friend who is anxious about Back to School

5: Start your morning off reading the Lord’s Prayer.

6: Check out my sermon, “On Earth As It Is In Heaven” for insight as to why the Lord’s Prayer is SO HELPFUL in building our shalom practices

7: Send a getting to know you email to your Child’s teacher, mentor, coach or pastor

8: If you’re feeling generous, buy and print a “getting to know you” form from ETSY. This is my favorite one

9:Write back to school Benediction for your kids:

a: See them

b: Look for good and potential in them

c: Bless them to live into it

d DON’T GIVE UP on your benedictions
