Here are three things you need to know about today's episode.

1: My guest today is Abby Norman and we have a much needed conversation on peacemaking and mass shootings in our public schools. Abby is Abby Norman is the mother two girls and the former teacher of over 1000 teenagers. A current seminarian and preacher at New Hope United Methodist, the most instagramable church in the world, she thinks a lot about the stories we tell. She is the author of Consent Based Parenting, and a book being shopped about inner city teaching. Find all of her words at abbynorman.net

2: We're praying for each other in the Shalom Sistas Hangout and Newsletter. Click the links to join and get your prayer on.

3: Abby gives us FULL PERMISSION to stop following every shooting when it happens.

One Important Reminders:

2:  We have a Patreon to help pay for an editor and make sure episodes are released once a week.  The only way I can serve you here on the podcast is by delegating the editing/tech to someone else. Please consider supporting the podcast here.  We need $100 more to start a contract with an editor.   This week’s thank you gift in Patreon is my conversation with my daughter on “A Wrinkle in Time” it’ll show up on Monday.
